Our Create with Clay workshop offers a welcoming, fun, encouraging environment for your artist to express their creative side. Working with clay is an experience all of its own! Follow your projects from hand building or throwing on the wheel thru adding decorative accents by adding the glaze.

WHEN: SESSION 1 (CREATING) - NOVEMBER 16, 2019 at 9:30 to 11:30am (Check in at 9:15a)
SESSION 2 (GLAZING) - DECEMBER 14, 2019 at 9:30 to 11am (Check in at 9:15a)
WHERE: SOUTH TOWN CO-OP, MEETING ROOM, 1007 SE 3rd St, Corvallis, (across from Papa’s Pizza)
AGES: 2ND GRADE AND UP, OLDER SIBLINGS, AND ENTIRE FAMILIES WELCOME!
COST: $35 PER PARTICIPANT; $40 FOR NON PE+ MEMBERS
This workshop is for all ages, both new & experienced artists. During the initial 2-hour session, your artist will throw on the pottery wheel & hand-build with the help of Corvallis artist Laura Young. During the second session your artist will be able to add glaze to their creation(s)! Adding color really brings the projects to life!

COME PREPARED: Please be sure to wear something comfortable that you are not worried about getting dirty. In most cases the clay will wash out and aprons are provided but we suggest you leave your new clothes at home.
